The Nelson Trust is a charity that supports women with complex needs through our nine pathways, which include Domestic violence, Trauma, Alcohol and Substance Misuse, Sex working, Attitudes thinking and behaviour, Children and family relationships, Finance and benefits, Accommodation Education and Training. Our ethos is to use a person centred, trauma informed approach to reach the most vulnerable women in our community.

Service summary
The Nelson Trust provides emotional and practical support to women with complex needs in the Perinatal Period, through 1:1 keyworker and group sessions, covering and to include our 9 pathways.
Further information
The women’s centre is open Monday to Friday 9.30 – 5. Women can drop in and use the facilities anytime we have shower facilities and a washing machine, we have a lunch club that runs twice a week on a Tuesday and Thursday. Keyworkers are always on hand for advice or a friendly chat. If women have not been referred but are in need of support, we are happy to offer and support with signposting, Foodbank referrals or a safe place to be if in crisis.
