We are a team of qualified nurses, every school and alternative setting has an allocated named nurse, there is also a nurse working within the Youth Offending Team. We work closely with young people, parents and carers, school staff and other professionals to plan and deliver services to school age children.
There is no charge however schools can purchase specific 'Traded services'.

School nurses support children and young people in school.
Training school staff and writing careplans if children need special medical help or medication in school. Administering immunisations as part of the National immunisation programme. Meeting with children and their families to support health issues. Vision, hearing, height & weight screening.
All children attending mainstream and alternative education settings (4-18 years).
