Debt, Housing and Benefits Advice

We are a registered charity that provides free, legal advice in Welfare Benefits, Housing and Debt.   We also work in partnership with Citizens Advice Swindon, Harbour Project, and Stratton Advice Point under the Big Lottery Advice Services Transition Fund.

Advice on issues with Housing Associations, housing benefit queries and claims, repair issues with landlords regarding, mortgage arrears and repossession. Advice on all aspects of debt including Council Tax arrears and dealing with Enforcement Officers, information on Bankruptcy and Debt Relief Orders. Welfare Benefits including Social Security appeals and representation at tribunals.

Client groups

To qualify for Housing advice you must meet the Legal Aid Agency qualification for eligibility - be on a low income or a means tested benefit plus eligibility checks - please ask.
For Debt advice be referred by Greensquare housing and be a tenant of Greensquare.
For Welfare Benefits you must be either referred by Citizens Advice Bureau or Greensquare Group as above.
