MyPad lets you save links to information you have found on Local Offer and want to go back to. You can also add your own notes and update them whenever you wish. If you are logged onto your account in Local Offer, MyPad will save your links and notes until you delete them. The Supported Employment Service is a partner organisation of the Building Bridges programme. The Building Bridges programme supports people across Swindon who are facing significant challenges in being able to develop their skills, access education or move towards the world of work. It is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and the European Social Fund.

Client meetings take place in a variety locations across Swindon; every effort is made to ensure that these are accessible. Clients can request a suitable public location for the meetings.

Service summary

The Supported Employment Service supports people across Swindon who are facing significant challenges in being able to develop their skills, access education or move towards the world of work. 

Further information

Eligible clients are allocated a keyworker who can support them reach their goals in a variety of ways, some of which are listed below:

  • CV development
  • Job searching
  • Interview preparation
  • Building experience and accessing volunteering and traineeships
  • Developing skills and qualifications
  • Understanding barriers to employment or training
  • Gaining confidence
  • Accessing well-being support

Client groups

In order to take part, you must meet all of the following criteria:
  • Not working*
  • Have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom
  • Live in Swindon or Wiltshire
  • Be aged 15 or over
  • Not in Prison

* on a zero hours contract, with no income from employment in the last three months
