The Vine Church (Swindon) started in January 2011 with a small group of 8 believers meeting in the home of Giles & Silvia Stevens.

In February a monthly service started and then in April this became a weekly afternoon service held at a local hotel.

By the end of the year the church had grown from one cell group to seven cell groups and from 8 people to 72 people (including 15 in London).

Our mission is to build a church of overcomers where every member is a minister and every home is an extension of the church in order that we win our generation for Christ.


Cell groups meet in member’s homes during weeknights and the Sunday service takes place at 10.30am. The services themselves are characterized by passionate worship and rich teaching and are becoming known to be a life-changing experience for participants. Children also have their own program.

In addition, the church holds regular Weekend Encounter Camps and training tracks.
