Swindon Advocacy Movement, affectionately referred to as SAM, is an independent charity. SAM provides a free, independent and accessible advocacy service in Swindon.
Advocacy gives people the opportunity to-
access and understand information
consider options & make an informed decision
have their voice heard in a process
We support people through periods of change in their lives; those who cannot make themselves heard to get the services and help they need to improve the quality of their lives.
We help people to understand their rights and get what they are entitled to.
We help people who are on their own, receiving a service that is not right for them.
We empower people to speak up for themselves
