Respect is a programme for families where young people (10-17 year olds) display aggressive behaviours towards people close to them - brothers, sisters, parents or carers. This can include behaviours such as hitting, making threats, damaging property/items in the home and emotional abuse.

Parents can ring for an Early Help Hub consultation on  01793 466903 choosing option 1

Respect provides support and simple solutions to help to rebuild family relationships and work towards a more positive outcome.

Further information

Referrals are triaged by Parenting Hub coordinators to assess suitability. A graduated response or other programme may be recommended.
Consent needs to be gained from both the adult and young person before we will accept referrals.
It is preferred that an Early Help Assessment has been completed for all referrals.

Client groups

The service is available to young people aged 10-17 and their parent/carers experiencing violence from the young person at home.
