Service summary

Stroke changes lives and it can have a huge effect on you and your family. Aphasia is the communication disability that is common after a stroke.It affects people in different ways but can be a devastating condition that can alter all areas of life. We believe in life after stroke, that is why we support stroke survivors to make the best recovery they can.

Further information

We offer support in the form of Communication Workshops or on a one-to-one basis at home from our coordinator; the opportunity to practice communication and gain confidence in dealing with everyday situations; Information, advice and emotional support; Assistance with accessing local leisure and social activities; Signposting to other organisations that could help.
