Preparing for Adulthood Transitions Roadshow 2021
The Swindon Preparing for Adulthood Transitions Roadshow 2021 will take place on Wednesday 22nd September from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m (venue to be confirmed).
The Roadshow is for parents, carers and professionals who support young people age 14+ with additional needs. The event will meet Government Covid guidance at that time.
The term 'Transition' relates to young people with additional needs who may need extra and sometimes specialist support to help them to prepare for adult life. Please come along to the Roadshow for information and advice, to find out what services and opportunities are available to support young people as they prepare for adulthood. More than 40 stallholders from a wide range of services, including employment, education and social care, Health, voluntary sector services, community and sports activities, financial services, will be there to answer your questions, along with Transitions Leads from Swindon Borough Council and Swindon Clinical Commissioning Group.
