Autism: Demand Avoidance

Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) Society is a charity set up by parents of children with a PDA profile of autism. They provide information, support and training about PDA for individual, families and professionals.

They provide information on what demand avoidance is as well as helpful approaches such as the PDA PANDA to provide a quick reminder for strategies. As well as self-help strategies for adults and strategies for helping children.

National Autistic Society provide information and support strategies for adults, parents, carers, and professionals on Pathological Demand Avoidance.
