Information in other formats

If you have problems with your sight or hearing

We can provide information about our Adult Social Care services in a range of alternative formats including large print, Braille or CD. Please contact the Customer Service Centre on 01793 445500 if you require information in an alternative format. If you are deaf and / or have some level of hearing loss we can offer access to a British Sign Language interpreter. 

If English is not your first language

We have access to a translation service that covers both face-to-face, telephone interpreting and written translations for those customers who cannot speak, understand or read English and have difficulty accessing information and services from Adult Social Care.

Languages available are:
Amharic, Arabic, Bengali, Braille, Brazilian Portuguese, British Sign Language, Cantonese, Creole, Dari, French, Italian, Konkani, Lithuanian, Mandarin, Nepalese, Pashto, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Speech to Text, Thai, Tigrinya, Turkish, Ukrainian and Urdu.
